Welcome to my website
 I was brought up on a farm where the food I ate was very fresh - vegetables from the garden - fruit from the orchard.
After leaving home my diet at times was not so good.
This often resulted in feeling tired with outbreaks of spots. Now 10 years on since my new direction in nutrition and just having celebrated my 40th birthday; I have clear skin with no wrinkles and more energy!
I was awarded a degree with honours in Nutrition with Food Science in 1996.
To become more specialised I studied for a Nutrition Consultants Diploma at the Renowned Institute for Optimum Nutrition in London and was awarded the DipION qualification in August 2000. |

Registered with Nutritional Therapists Council (NTCC) and a member of the British Association of Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT).
I have professional experience of working as a nutritionist for Farmacia Urban Healing, London and Champneys Health Resorts.
I still work part time for Champneys. My daily work involves 1:1 consultations, talks, workshops, specialising in weight management and detox programmes.
2003 Advised World Vision on safe fasting for their 24hr famine appeal where teenages fasted up and down the country.
2006 Was Alternative Health Writer for NAC-MAGS " Real People Magazine".
2007 I was a crew member of Teaminspiration providing nutrition support for Cyclist Jim Rees in Race across America travelling 3000 miles in 12 days and 5 hours from San Diego to Atlantic City.
2010 Provided healthy eating advice for AgeUK Hertfordshire "Fit as Fiddle" Campaign
2011 Continue to provide technical advice for magazines on diet and supplements including Running World, Woman's Own &, Camstyle .
